Gameloft Updates Modern Combat 5 With New Suits, Gameplay, Scenery, More [Video]

Gameloft has released an autumn update to Modern Combat 5: Blackout bringing new suits, new gameplay, new scenery, and more.

Step into the action as the latest installment in the best FPS series raises the bar for shooters once more! Create a squad, add your friends and test your individual and team skills against other squads! Is single player your thing? Then step into a world on the brink of anarchy and shoot your way out of one dire situation after another to expose a lunatic who’s trying to tear the world to shreds.

HAPPY BOOSTED HALLOWEEN! Update now for a really WILD ride:

BOOSTED EVENTS
• Use the all-new boosters in special multiplayer events for a crazy, heart-pounding experience.
• Now's the time to go big or go home! Use invisibility, carpet bombings, damage or HP boosts and many, many more perks.
• Climb the leaderboards to win armor parts and other awesome rewards.

SPECIAL, LIMITED-TIME HALLOWEEN CONTENT
• Trick or Treat! Pimp your weapon with festive camos and cool trinkets such as the squash, claws or the witch hat.
• Will the new Pumpkin mask make you look awesome or ridiculous? It won't matter because its accuracy bonus will certainly let you have the last laugh.
• Hold your fire -- it's just a friendly ghost! During Halloween, experience night-time combat and strange things that go bump in the dark.
• We've decorated for the occasion: menacing pumpkins, tombstones, coffins and more.

WEREWOLF EVENT
• Play this once-every-month special event to unlock the coolest armor of them all: The Werewolf.
• NEW gameplay mechanic: Fill your blood thirst meter to unleash ravaging attacks!


NEW ARMORS
• Use the existing Praetorian mask to complete the full Legion armor.
• If you have the Vaporizer mask, you're one step ahead in completing the Hazard armor.

GAME DESIGN UPDATES
• The default Recon armor ability has been changed. Upon death, the Recon does not drop a flash grenade anymore.
