On the Apple's earnings call today, CEO Tim Cook noted that demand for the company's new 4-inch iPhone SE is 'very strong', exceeding expectations.

"We're thrilled with the response that we've seen on it. It is clear that there is a demand there even much beyond what we thought. That is really why we have the constraint that we have."

The iPhone SE has been in short supply since it launched. New orders have an estimated delivery time of 2-3 weeks.

Apple reported its first down quarter in 13 years today with sales of the iPhone, iPad, and iPod dropping year over year. Hit the link below for more details...

"Cook noted that demand for the company's new 4-inch iPhone SE is 'very strong'" You mean demand for their 'old' phone? This is a faster iphone 5, not a 'new' product

The SE was not meant to be a flagship so things like force touch would obviously be left out.
