Apple says 5,200 people work daily on this project. Here's a look at what will be the cafeteria "Caffè Macs", installed in a huge atrium.
Stainless steel covers (3 mm thick for this material) will dress the poles installed in this space. Each of these pieces measures 7.6 meters and weighs 500 kg. It takes four to surround each of the pillars.
The doors of "Caffè Macs" are huge bays made up of 10 pieces of glass each. They will open on the outside, like the big Apple Store doors in San Francisco city center.
The roof of Campus 2 features 59 skylights that bring light into the interior space.
A slot in the wall (apparently made of the same marble as the grand staircase of the new Apple Store in Regent Street) contains speakers. A worker is installing the cables.
The installation of the roof of one of the campus receptions, made of an assembly of carbon fiber parts.
