Hacker Jonathan Levin has announced that a jailbreak of tvOS 10.1.1 may be possible.

So maybe a #jailbreak for #TvOS 10.1.1 can be had, after all *snicker* :-) STAY ON

Levin is the developer behind the LiberTV jailbreak released for tvOS 9.1 to 10.1. You can find instructions on how to jailbreak your device here.

Apple just released tvOS 10.2 on Monday so you may want to disable automatic software updates if you are on tvOS 10.1.1 and looking to jailbreak.

No you have a point but honestly...the profile jailbreaks dont actually give u full read/write. This type of jailbreak is the norm now unfortunately...id rather have a 9.3.3 "tethered" jailbreak vs having the stupid tethered "profile" jailbreaks. Apps like ppsspp runs full speed on non profiled jailbreaks. On a profiled jailbreak, an iphone 7 is slower than a untethered 5s jailbroken device when using ppsspp or retroarch or even xbmc (kodi)

Also its been since 9.0.2 since a full untethered has come. Apple on 10.3.2 beta already. This is the longest stretch ever without an untethered release

At this point.....any jailbreak tool release article that ends with a "?" is just kinda wasting time. Jailbreaking is not dead but pretty damn close. I mean profile jailbreaks isn't really a true jailbreak. Been since 9.1 since a real tool has dropped fully untethered
