Apple's AirPower wireless charging mat could launch next month, according to a report from Macotakara. The AirPower mat lets you charge up to three compatible devices at the same time by placing them anywhere on its surface.
Macotakara corroborates a previous report from The Apple Post which claimed that Best Buy would begin receiving AirPower units towards the end of March with additional units to be used as store demos.
Our tipster has claimed that Apple’s new charging case for AirPods will launch simultaneously with AirPower in March, however it’s believed Best Buy will only stock the case when sold with brand-new AirPods, hinting that the standalone wireless charging case will be available through Apple exclusively.
Pricing for the AirPower mat is still unknown; however, Polish online retailer X-Kom has listed it for 999 Złotych. Based on pricing comparisons this could translate to around $199 USD.

That is stupid wireless charger been around for a while, but they release this later after the launch of their iPhone 8 & X, i love apple eco system but there is no more innovation like they used to be

Can you explain one thing in any other companies phones that has been effectively innovative recently, things like the face ID sensor module, colour accurate display, bionic chip if you understand technology you would know how much work goes into making things like these and would appreciate them.

Apple watch bands are barely compatible with this most of the time you have to have it raised or on its side
