Unreleased Technique Can Downgrade A5 Devices on iOS 5.1.x to iOS 5.0.1

Posted May 7, 2012 at 8:34pm by iClarified
MuscleNerd has revealed that there is an unreleased technique which can downgrade A5 devices on iOS 5.1 and iOS 5.1.1 to iOS 5.0.1 for an untethered jailbreak.

5.1.1 shows Apple knows about an unreleased technique to downgrade A5 devices to 5.0.1 with saved blobs (but left it alone..hmm)

It's unclear why Apple would leave this technique alone. Maybe it wasn't worth fixing because it hadn't been made available.

Notably, this technique is different from the one found by iH8Sn0w in that it does not use copyrighted Apple code.

Unfortunately, we don't know when or if this technique will become public.

Always amazed at the level of defense that fanboys display... It's like their whole world hinges on it... Wait, I guess it does... Think Differently!! P.S. hard to believe that used to be Appe's mantra...

The possibility of hackers IOS will not tell about the technique described by your posts. Because i0n1c just do not want to release IOS 5.1 jailbreak has been successful discovery. That means it's likely to downgrade the technique will not be released to the public.

I have no Idea why people Still buying apple devices anyway, ANDROID IS THE FUTURE , THEY LET YOU UPGRADE AND DOWNGRADE AND THEY TEACH YOU HOW TO ROOT OR JAILBREAK IF YOU WANT YOUR DEVICE. Apple want to teach people how they have to use there apple device, what is allowed and what is not :) and keep always blocking jailbreaker and unlocker. goodbye Apple.

@david ---- Hey, while you're trying to prove to us which platform is greater by the number of devices installed with each OS, I'll tell you the following thing: Android devices manufactured by companies such as Samsung, HTC, LG, and hundreds of others are by far the largest amount of smartphone devices shipped worldwide, with hundreds of millions devices in use worldwide. iPhone fans, on the other hand, may note that cockroaches are far more numerous than humans, and that numbers alone do not denote a higher life form!

It's not easy man!! It takes me bout 3-4 hrs to restore my iPhone4s to the way it has been jailbroken. The way I had it all the apps and tweaks reloaded . It requires a time and patience Just leave them alone they are working on it a hacker never stops trust me in that
