Apple has begun notifying customers that their iPhone 4 pre-orders have shipped, according to MacRumors.

Several readers have notified us that they have started receiving shipment notifications and FedEx tracking numbers for their iPhone 4. Several of the shipment notifications indicate a "Delivers By" date of June 23rd -- a day before the official launch day.

So I have a question. I had two iPhones reserved from a Spring mobile store (AT&T authorized dealer). I gave them the deposit and everything. I checked my ATT account and it shows one iPhone has been shipped. Now when I called and told Spring mobile they said to not worry about what the ATT site says because they don't go off what it says. He said that there will be two iPhones reserved for me. So my question is if that iphone from AT&T is shipped to my residence, am I allowed to keep it? hahahaha

I received a status update from Apple. My i4 has left HK, and is in transit. I reside in So Cal, and my ETA is the 24th.

Mine is "prepared for shipping". Since I'm 1 day from ship point, I don't expect a tracking or confirmation of shipping until @ 22 June.

This happened last time. UPS will have a requested hold on the package so it is delivered on the 24th

Getting hacked off that none of the UK networks (particularly Orange) haven't even released details of a ore order program!!

"Not yet shipped Ships: Delivers on June 24th" Probably they're not releasing yet because they don't want people receiving them early. In the USA they can hold them back and maybe they can't here in the UK and so releasing them a bit later.

ATT folks will not receive on launch day! Thats what i was told by a known friend working at ATT CSR (manager) for order status department Hope I get mine on launch
