Apple Blocks Access to JailbreakMe in Apple Stores

Not really a surprise but Apple has redirected JailbreakMe.com to Apple.com in its retail stores, according to several email reports.

This should come as a relief to Apple Store employees who were kept busy restoring iPhones, iPads, and iPods after customers would jailbreak them for fun.

man you rock ! :D why didn't you jailbeak all iphones and ipods in the store xD ? in my country there no apple stores...but you gave me an idea what to do when they open one here XD

I liked this video, and at least he's out doin stuff rather then watching YouTube video's like you all day like you!!!

I don't think this is true 'cause i just tried it and everything opened just fine showing me the "slide to jailbreak" button!

Damn! Didn't even think to try that! I tried the regular jailbreakme.com yesterday, and sure enough it is redirected to apple.com. I'll try the modmyi option today :)

or if that doesnt work, if you already have a jailbroken iphone you could just use the MyWi Cydia app and make your phone a wireless hotspot, then you could just connect their iphone to your iphone's internet and WALA.... Jailbreakme.com time!! Don't make fun of my idea if its bad.

Or run an http server off an iPod touch or something and have your own jailbreakme site locally on apples network and jailbreak from there
