A new survey from Credit Suisse says that 63% of iPhone owners will stay with AT&T even if Verizon gets the iPhone.

BusinessInsider reports that 23% want to join Verizon, 3% want to go to Sprint, and 2% want to go to T-Mobile.

While this number sounds high, it is actually better than previously reported, leading Credit Suisse to be raise its price target on AT&T to $35, from $27.

You can see slides of the entire survey at BusinessInsider.

My AT&T contract is up in December. I plan on ditching them and my iPhone for verizon and a Droid.

Personally, I think it's a stupid survey. Of course, most folks aren't going to want to pay a penalty and sign a new contract for the exact same phone! Also, since when is a Swiss Bank doing tech surveys of American products concerning American companies? One, what's their motive and two, how does it affect them? I would love to buy a Verizon iPhone 5! But I just signed a new contract with the iPhone 4, and I have an iTouch 3G I just bought in December. I really don't need another $74/month contract on top of all of that!
