A fake Greenpois0n jailbreak tool for iOS 4.1 claiming to be from the Chronic Dev Team has appeared online.
This "tool" contains a trojan which could steal passwords and other private data from infected systems. It does not jailbreak your device and is not an official release.
Please stay away from any tools claiming to jailbreak iOS 4.1 unless we have posted about it. Currently, only one tool (RedSn0w 0.9.6) has been released for iOS 4.1 and it works only for the iPhone 3G and iPod Touch 2G.

Why does the iClarified tutorial to jailbreak the iPhone 3G and iPod Touch 2G has not been updated to work with FW 4.1 yet? Is this still an unofficial tutorial??? According with the news, RedSn0w 0.9.6 has been released for iOS 4.1 "officially"
