Apple has told Reuters that it will delay the release of the white iPhone 4 again, this time until next spring.
"We're sorry to disappoint customers waiting for the white iPhone again," said Apple spokeswoman Trudy Muller. She declined to explain the delay.
Apple has never explained what the specific delay with the device has been. They've only said it has been "more challenging to manufacture than we originally expected."
A recent update to the Apple Store app which allowed for reservations of the white iPhone had given hope that the device would be available before Christmas; however, according to Apple this is not the case.

PocketLint ran into a man with a white iPhone 4. His friend is stationed att Apple in Cupertino, and theres a bunch of white iPhones there, so he got him one. Apparently the problem is the white color. The fabric that manufactures the faceplates and the fabric that manufactures the home button can't match their colors. Seems like a good explain to me.

Yea, what do u think the plan is? keep u in the contract forever with u buying new iphones all the time.
get a HTC instead its going to be an Android world.
Apple is for kids who just want to play with iPhone and keep staring at the beauty. HTC is for men who wants to do endless things.

Please tell me they're not going to release the iPhone 4 and then the next week the iPhone 5. They should be working on a totally new design for antennagate and the glass back. Now what should we expect? No new iPhone 5 because of this hold up of the white iPhone 4? This is disappointing from Apple.
