FilmOn is streaming free HD TV to your iPad and iPhone. The service lets you tune into the live broadcasts of 25 popular channels including CNN, BBC, Bloomberg, and ITV.
BTIG Research notes that "FilmOn is backed by billionaire Alki David, who believes he is legally operating within existing US copyright law and plans to spend heavily to win his legal battle with the networks."

Works fine on my iphone but not on my ipad. When I go to the site there are only pay subscriptions available.
I don't get the side bar that shows the channels?? Only shows a player and the on;ly option that works is the one that pulls up the subscription. blah!!

My iPad (non jailbroken) also crashes right after the site loads.

I have a 3GS and the site loads but I can only list 12 stations, not 25. It works fine but I just get 12 stations. Good, though! Thanks Alkie

This is great however, after a few seconds my iPad restarts! I'm using a jailbroken iPad on 4.1. (jailbreakme) is there a fix to prevent this from happening?

Take note, Apple. HDTV and HD Radio antennas (and the programs to use them) included in the next gen of iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. Shrink them down and make it happen. Don't let us down. We're looking at you, Steve Jobs.
