Microsoft is offering Geohot a free WP7 handset after he suggested their methods of dealing with hackers were a lot better than Sony's.
Linking to an Engadget article on the Windows Phone 7 jailbreak, Geohot writes, "perhaps a more appropriate way to deal with jailbreakers. I'm going out to buy a Windows 7 phone"
It seems Microsoft got wind of his statement and tweeted...
#geohot if you want to build cool stuff on #wp7, send me email and the team will give you a phone - let dev creativity flourish #wp7dev

To all you people saying "Geohot doesn't have a twitter account" This had nothing to do with a Geohot twitter account.....Geohot put the comment on his website geohot.com and said: "perhaps a more appropriate way to deal with jailbreakers
I'm going out to buy a Windows 7 phone"
MS then added #Geohot to the comment.....And if you know anything about twitter thats a trend comment. If it were to his account it would have been @geohot :-P

Well if Yorkshire in the UK is USA.....yes you are 100% correct. That sounds like Sarcasm to me. Funny how you got that assumption so accurate without knowing any fact.

As stated before, Geohot has no twitter account! Even if he did, what a insult being given a windows mobile! I'd rather be sent to jail than touch a windows phone

One problem- the real Geohot doesn't have a twitter account and swears the @Geohot account isn't him.

but that's not a reply to @geohot, that's just a hashtag, so they're just letting him know
