Microsoft is considering the possibility of selling Office 2011 through the new Mac App Store, according to a Mobilized report.
"It's something we are looking at," Microsoft's Amanda Lafebvre told Mobilized. However, the company said its product is already available in lots of places as well as via the Web–including in a new free 30-day trial version.
"It's something we haven't ruled out," she said. "We just have to see how that relates to our business."
Apple's office applications Pages, Keynote, and Numbers rank 3rd, 9th, and 13th in the Mac App Store's list of top paid programs.
