No iPhone 5 Until Fall, Siri Integrated Into iOS 5?

No iPhone 5 Until Fall, Siri Integrated Into iOS 5?

Apple will reportedly demo iOS 5 with Siri integration at WWDC 2011 but will not unveil a new iPhone, according to TechCrunch.

Some are already speculating that the iPhone 5 may be pushed until 2012. But based on what we’re hearing right now, that will not be the case. Instead, it is expected to launch this fall, leading up to the all-important holiday shopping season. As is always the case with Apple, plans can change in a heartbeat, but that is the plan right now.

TechCrunch believes that a fall iPhone 5 launch will make LTE more likely since the timeframe would give Apple a more vetted and lower power Qualcomm chip.

The site has also learned that the cloud will be a big part of the announcements at WWDC. They aren't sure if this is iTunes in the cloud or something else; since an iTunes announcement would seem to go better with Apple's fall iPod event.

Whispers suggest Apple could actually hold two fall events this year to handle the additional releases.

Finally, TechCrunch has learned that Siri will be a big part of iOS 5.

The use of Siri's artificial intelligence and assistance technology is said to be deeply integrated into the OS for all the different services offered. And the team is now putting the finishing touches on the elements that will be demoed at WWDC, we hear. This tech may also be opened to developers for use in third-party apps — though that information isn’t quite as concrete.

theres no way Aplle will hold off till next year for the iphone 5 for the simple fact that yje iphone 4 is only a 3g phone thats already considered old technology so yes expect the iphone 5 to be relesed later this year working on the 4g network

There's no way that apple will delay the IPhone 5 they have stuck to every other cycle consistently like the iPod iPad and Mac Also Siri would be great however the info from a reliable source

I hope the iPhone 5 is very nice and isn't $600 as a gift price.... THAT IS A STUPID PRICE. That is the reason why I still have my iPhone 2g, I would have bought a 4 until I saw that $599 price tag. Fo-get it.
