Untethered Jailbreak is Coming Soon via RedSn0w and PwnageTool, No iPad2 Support

The iPhone Dev-Team has announced that they will release updated versions of both RedSn0w and PwnageTool to provide an untethered jailbreak for iOS 4.3.1.

Currently the team is working on overall 4.3.x jailbreak issues and getting Cydia ready for the release. I0n1c's untether has been tested and described as 'solid'.

The upcoming releases of RedSn0w and PwnageTool will support the Apple TV 2 but will not support the iPad 2. Musclenerd notes that they are waiting to find a legal method of distributing comex's 4.3 jailbreak for the iPad 2 before they make it public.

We will let you know as soon as the jailbreak becomes available.

Mobilesubstrate just updated. Hopefully this is a sign that 4.3.1 jailbreak will be release tonight.

Hope they consentrate to fix ipad 2 jailbreak because there is Actually already jailbreak to all the other ios devices so I will survive to have 4.2.1 jailbreak on my iphone 4 but I am in great need of ipad 2 jailbreak, Hoping so much that comes will release the iPad 2 4.3 jailbreak soon :)

LoL this comment pretty much sums up what I was going to say. I'm more then happy to wait for a iPhone 4.3/4.3.1 jailbreak since I'm doing just fine with my iPhone 4 v4.2.1 jailbreak. On the other hand I'm dying with a jailbreak for my iPad 2. I wish they would just focus all there time on getting a iPad 2 jailbreak released. I'll take any iPad 2 jailbreak at this point, tethered or untethered. I never realized how many of the features I've used require a jailbroken device, not to mention apps. I'm dying here LoL, I'd pay a good amount of money for it at this point.

Exactly what I wanted to say hehe, my iPhone 4 is doing good on 4.2, but I just bought iPad 2 and it's killing me that I can't do what I could on my iPhone 4 jb. Please come out with a jb for iPad 2, I really don't mind if it's a tethered jb.

In addition to that, everywhere in the World people sell Dev Team's unlock to the dumb next door. I really think they should make some money, so I'll donate when this unlock (which I need) is released.

I have been following up this site for a long time...I have notice bunch of babies... Pay as you go iphone wanna be .getting their $$ for their mommies and daddy Thanks to dev team that you have a jailbroken Iphone and unlocks otherwise you will be asking your daddy I personally respect Dev Team they are very clever people ..I always respect people with this high intelligence let them do what they do best .. Have respect for Dev Team..They are doing this for FREE guys!! Take a look at GEVEY he is selling a single sim card for all unlock Iphones for $80 a pop Dev team has been doing this for no $$ and their work can't be matched.. It requires lots of work and codes to write ..obviously they love what they are doing otherwise no 1 will give u anything for FREE these days.. This is the first time I posted here I read every post ..it just pisses me off when u insult someone that you never met and dev team does lalot for us... All i am saying PLEASE watch your mouth and thank them for their gift ..cuz this is a gift If they didnt exist u wont even know what jailbreak means Again once awhile post a positive Post Say thank you DEV TEAM for your hard work and be patient ..patience is a virtue BTW if you dont have something nice to say dont post it Thank u Take care Luciano
