References to a new AirPort Extreme and Time Capsule Base Station have been found in the latest AirPort Utility update, according to 9to5Mac.
We have discovered references to unreleased AirPort Extremes and Time Capsules inside the code of Apples latest AirPort Utility update. Specifically, this code references a 5th Generation AirPort Extreme Base Station with 802.11n capability and a 4th Generation Time Capsule with 802.11n capability.
9to5Mac also noticed some strings which indicated Apple might store software updates on the base stations; however, MacRumors notes that these were already found in 2010.
Before WWDC it was rumored that Apple would update the devices to run iOS with A5 processors.
