Beautiful iPhone 5 Design Concept [Images]

Industrial designer Michal Bonikowski has created a concept of what the new iPhone 5 might look like, reports YankoDesign.

What are you predictions for the iPhone 5? I heard someplace that a curved display was in the making and attention was being given to the antenna issues. Designer Michal Bonikowski feels that the new version will be safe and predictable, simply because Apple canâ€™t afford another failed version. In his conceptual version Michal converts glass enclosure into proven aluminum; steel frame remains as a reference to the previous version and directly to the iPad 2. Also, the key functions is converted from mechanical to sensory.

@ JL i totally agree with you, Apple will be hesitant to copy someone else's concept but that does not mean that they will not incorporate there ideas!!! Keep that in mind as Apple has done that many times previously!

@Don- As has every corporation in America. Apple stole ideas from Xerox for their first OS and Microsoft cheap skated some poor guy out of his OS to create Windows.

I would love Apple to release an iPhone this thin, but there is far too much hardware to squeeze into such a small and sleek chassis. Fingers crossed eh!

I like it. I see all the comments below, but remember people, this is SOMEONE ELSE'S concept. I like the thinner design, and the curved backing. I like that it is similar to the iPhone 4 just due to the squared design the iP4 has. It feels more durable and looks tough. I'm thinking about doing the carbon fiber ghost armor on mine so that I can ditch the case (I have Verizon). If the iP5 looks like this, I'll be more than happy. I just want a brushed metal look on the back.

The exterior design is irrelevant. Everyone is just going to cover it with a piece of crap cover anyway.

The only big reason everyone has "a piece of crap" covering their iPhone 4 is because of the antenna trouble. If this new iPhone 5 doesn't have the same issue, I would gladly keel it naked and sexy as it is. But I do see ur point never the less.

This dont look like a radical new design i have been hearing about. I know this is just a concept, but it looks like more of the same to me, which is not really a bad thing at all. I was just hoping apple comes out with something that will completely blow samsung out of the water. Apples security is tight as hell this year!! can someone please leak a pic or 2 of the damn iphone5 already!

It's a concept. Guy obviously spent a decent amount of time creating this to give us an idea for the new model. Why not say why you don't like it instead of uttering one word posts.
