Lion USB Sticks Now Available for Fulfillment

Mac OS X Lion USB sticks are now available for fulfillment and could be sent free to some customers, according to an internal Apple support document leaked to 9to5Mac.

A USB flash drive containing Lion recovery media is now available for fulfillment. Consult the "Lion fulfillment" section of the Support-Related Fulfillment (SRF) procedure for details.

Key points:
● The ability to use this USB drive depends on how the customer purchased Lion and what computer they are using.
● Customers who are unable to use Lion's built-in recovery tools may be eligible to receive the USB drive at no cost, as determined by Tier 2.


The USB drives will also be available from the Apple Store later this month for $69.
