Sprint Confirms It Will Offer Unlimited Data for iPhone

Sprint has confirmed that it will offer an unlimited data plan for the iPhone, reports AllThingsD.

"We will be offering the benefit of our unlimited plans that start at just $69.99," said spokeswoman Michelle Leff Mermelstein.

The $69.99 plan offers 450 voice minutes and unlimited mobile-to-mobile calling. Sprint's $99 plan offers both unlimited calling and unlimited data.


When asked if they could handle the influx of iPhone customers, Mermelstein said. "We have every confidence in the ability of our 3G network to handle the influx of devices we expect to get. It certainly hasn't been an issue to date."
