Claro Puerto Rico is the fifth U.S. carrier to get the iPhone 4S, 9to5Mac has observed.
Claro Puerto Rico is currently the second largest mobile network serving the U.S. territory (after AT&T Mobility), with more than 1,000,000 customers and the most complete coverage serving the island's 78 municipalities/cities.
Interestingly, Claro is offering the 16GB iPhone 4S for just $99.99 with a contract. This is $100 cheaper than most networks. The $100 discount applies to the 32GB and 64GB versions as well.

It is rumored that the ETF for the contract is $600, and Claro's service is subpar, so people should REALLY consider if it's worth the LONG-term investment or not...

Claro happens to be the largest mobile company in LATAM. And with 225 million users, is not a strange move from Apple.
