The Chinese-language Commercial Times has quoted Daiwa Securities as indicating that the iPhone 5 will be unveiled at WWDC this June for a summer launch, reports DigiTimes.
The iPhone 5 will continue to utilize glass to glass (G/G) touch panel technology which will benefit current touch panel suppliers TPK Holding and Wintek, the paper quoted the securities house as saying.
This follows another report from 9to5Mac which suggested a summer launch as well.
WWDC is expected to take place from June 10th to June 15th this year.

I wholeheartedly agree with the douche-bag. It's absolutely the iPhone 6 as in the sixth model of iphone. iPhone 5 just doesn't make sense to me. It would make more sense to call it the iPhone 4G since it should probably be using 4G data speeds. Numerical discrepancies aside I will buy it even if apple calls it iPhone 10.
