Fring has already been hacked to allow VoIP / Skype voice calls over the 3G network, according a post on their forums.

Well... Try this patch of magnificient fring. You should uninstall previously installed fring, download the file, click twice, iTunes will get it and during the Sync will install it to iPhone as usual. This should allow for all around the world 3G community to make and receive voice calls via any type of internet connection: WiFi, EDGE, 3G.
PS I know, it's impudent (a little bit to post a link to patch on developers board, but, I think they deserve it (and WANT it) because of suckin apple sdk rules. Dev team must obey the rules... and I am not. Enjoy!

If you guys are getting errors, delete Fring from iTunes and delete it from your phone. Make sure you are jailbroken and have the MobileInstallation hack applied. Transfer the patched Fring that I posted a link to in iTunes. If you do those simple steps, you won't have any problems.

THE REASON WHY IS NOT LETTING U SYNC, IS BECAUSE YOU WERE NOT THE ORIGINAL ONE TO PURCHASE IT. ITS AS IF U TOOK SOMEONES BOUGHT APP AND PASTED IT TO YOUR ITUNES..IT WOULDNT WORK RIGHT...JUST LIKE ITS NOt WORKING RIGHT NOW. EVEN IF FRING IS FREE

I've installed cracked Fring on my iPhone, till then I'm not able to connect over wifi anymore, even if I re-install the official Fring! Why?

I installed fring on 2G with Tmobile Tzones edge. It does not connect? anyone knows why? is it because of tzones hack?

Installed through iTunes and ssh /Applications, no login just spins endlessly Call button for SIP & Skype Out remain dim.... What am i missing here? Any advice?

Okay thx! But the thing is: I can´t install Fring from iTunes anymore!? Even if delete ALL from var/mobile/Application! The app is in iTunes and check´d for sync. All other apps sync well but Fring doesn´t!? So my question is Why???

What you have to do, is not only jailbreak your iphone, but you need to be able to put crack'd apps onto it. If you download torrents simply put in cracked apps, download and the step by step guide is there For the Mobile installation guide, and then your FRING wont say this app has not be verified anymore. It does work for the 2g but you will only be able to make calls on wifi, not edge. yup yup...

Even if unistall and reinstall the "original" Fring from AppStore the Fring.app crash back to SB!!?? :-( What´s up?? I had it work very good before u see!
