iLab is reporting that the leaked iPad 3 LCD, back plate, and dock connector cable fit together.
We assembled the back plate of iPad2 and iPad3(?) into the LCD panel by Sharp Corporation which we've got the other day. The points which the arrows indicate just the right size as screw holes. Now, it became clear that the LCD panel made by SHARP was designed for this back panel.
They also note that the screw holes on the dock connector and back plate align together.
According to the site, the back plate is slightly thicker; less than 1mm, and equal-sized length and breadth.
This would suggest that Apple at least had Retina Display prototypes built using the Sharp LCD. The company is expected to announce its next generation tablet in the first week of March.

Looks like something stupid like minor changes. iPad 2S?

Just because it looks the same doesn't mean the upgrades are minor, after all the leaked parts suggest thicker casing in which can be something major internally...how else would you like an iPad looks anyways? It's perfect the way it is now. Add the Retina Display, Quad Core chip and even longer battery life then it's golden.

I was trying to say Kingsford was wrong for that 2S comment. But I replied to the wrong person. And guys, I’m a guy too. Also I love Apple, they can do no wrong in my book. I also have the money for two Fordkings! And what I mean by 2S being wrong is the name, because a Retina Display is enough to call it an iPad 3! Feel me on that? So (Fordkings) 'Quad Core chip and even longer battery life then it's golden.' Hell yeah Fordkings! Just a dude here guys.

@ Fordkings my bad and it's all good. I love to see my fanboys fight for Apple, the good fight! But I'll be waiting for hopefully an iPad 3 soon! Got the money for two because my girl has to have one too.
