Apple has issued a statement saying demand for the new iPad is off the charts, according to USA Today.
"Customer response to the new iPad has been off the charts and the quantity available for pre-order has been purchased," Apple said in a statement. "Customers can continue to order online and receive an estimated delivery date."
Pre-Orders for the first delivery date of March 16th are already sold out. iPads ordered now will ship out on March 19th for delivery at a later date.
