Check out this video showing a network speed test of the iPad 1 vs. iPad 2 vs. iPad 3.

The original iPad featured EDGE + Triband HSPA connectivity. The second generation iPad was then released with Edge + Quadband HSPA. Now the new iPad 3 features 4G LTE; UMTS/HSPA/HSPA+/DC-HSDPA; GSM/EDGE.

Take a look at the video below to see their network speeds compared.

Update:
For those wondering in the comments, these tests were performed one by one (no interference) in the exact same spot, with the exact same SIM, against the exact same server. The carrier was Bell in Canada.

This must be a slow provider. I tested mine at my home. I'm on ATT in San Diego. LTE 30 down, 20 up 4G 7.7 down and 1.5 up

Seriously! That's all you get on the new iPad over US carriers? Apple should be ashamed of being proud of their accomplishment there.. Creating an iPad that can get 73 Mbps with "4G" on signals that pretty much only work in the US which have carriers delivering about 15 Mbps and not working on European signals that delivers about 50-60 Mbps.. I get 15 Mbps on my 3G network.. (I know it seems like it but I'm not trash talking you guys in America but the ironic fact that Apple is proud of a feature the new iPad can't take advantage of, it only consumes battery..) :/

Might be a good thing to ad that I'm not an Apple hater, I'll die with my iPhone in my hand and I'm Definetily buying the new iPad!

Ipad 2 is in the middle of both the devices giving it the most interference. Do the test again with the iPad 3 in the middle!!
