SwipeSelection Tweak is Now Available

SwipeSelection, a tweak that brings new text editing options to the iPad and iPhone, is now available in Cydia.

A new way to edit text on the iPad (and iPhone/iPod) using gestures on the keyboard to move the cursor and select text. Based on the concept video by @danielchooper

(note: it fully supports iOS 5.0+ and works down to iOS 4.0, although on 4.0 detecting if the shift key is down doesn't work so you can only move the cursor not select text)

You can get SwipeSelection by Kyle Howells free from the Big Boss Cydia repository.

Reading all the comments posted by users here, I hope the Developer takes a note and releases an update(s) to this awesome tweak. Keep em' coming. Oh! And one more thing, Muchas Gracias for not charging us.

Great app, only lacks support for emoji and alternate keys.... But awesome anyway.

Well its a nice tweak but it has some issues. With this tweak enabled I'm not being able to use some special characters that are accessible when you hold. Certain keys down.. Ex. Ã Å Ã± Ã¶ Ã§ xz Ã Ã¦

It is not working in: Pages, DocsToGO, Safari (inside browser)...

Unfortunately, the "alternative" keys like "Euro" symbol cannot be chosen. I really hope this would be fixed soon.

They claim this is now fixed, though I haven't tested it myself. But when I just downloaded it, they list this as an "update".
