An iOS 5 compatible version of MobileTerminal has been released in Cydia.
A Terminal application for iPhone.
This is a Terminal emulator for the iPhone. With it you can do all of your standard system administration tasks from anywhere: ssh into remote boxes, download files, edit configurations, whatever.

I had just installed this from http://code.google.com/p/mobileterminal/ on my new 5.1.1 JB. Couple days later it pops on Cydia through BigBoss. I hope they keep it updated :-)

Is Mobile Terminal still open source? And if so can we get a link to the repository. That allows developers to build it and deploy it to non-jailbroken devices maybe? Or does it rely too much on other jailbreak hacks?

Yes it is Open Source, not sure but you can try this link. http://mobileterminal.sourceforge.net/ ......Good luck getting Apple to approve a mobileterminal app.
