So Apple traded a reliance on Google for a reliance on TomTom, who could potentially be bought out by Google or some other company at any time? Sounds a little fishy. Thought this was Apple's attempt to do something on their own. Hopefully this is a first pass, and eventually Apple will do the necessary work themselves. I'd hate to think they traded one dependency for another.
