Microsoft has announced the official launch date for Windows 8.
Just a few minutes ago, Steven Sinofsky announced at Microsoft's annual sales meeting that customers will be able to get Windows 8 whether in upgrade fashion or on a new PC starting on October 26th. Earlier this month at the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference, Tami Reller told attendees Windows 8 would be available in October. But now everyone has a specific date to mark on their calendars.
A release preview of Windows 8 is available for those looking to test out the new operating system.

Windows 8 is awesome ... I guess MS is kinda back to competition, I like the MS Surface so far, and let's hope Apple would work on something new instead of slightly improves stuff. I am kinda disappointed at OS 6. Anyways, Microsoft has made me proud once more
