Pages Gets Updated With Support for Mountain Lion, iCloud, Dictation
Apple has updated Pages with support for Mountain Lion, iCloud, Retina Display, and Dictation.
Pages '09 is both a streamlined word processor and an easy-to-use page layout application. It allows you to be a writer one minute and a designer the next, always with a perfect document in the works.
Pages starts with an enhanced Template Chooser that lets you skim through more than 180 Apple-designed templates. You can easily create stunning documents, ranging from a simple letter to a professionally polished resume to a newsletter and more. Or start with a blank page and create your own design on a free-form canvas. Whatever you write, Pages puts powerful tools at your fingertips. So you can create beautiful, media-rich documents in minutes.
What's New In This Version:
This update adds support for OS X Mountain Lion and takes advantage of the following features:
iCloud: Store documents in iCloud and keep them automatically up to date across your Mac, iPad*, iPhone*, iPod touch*, and the web. Changes made to a document on one device automatically appear on all your other devices.
Dictation: Speak words, numbers, or sentences and watch them appear in your document.
Pages 4.2 is also enhanced to take advantage of the Retina display on the new MacBook Pro so documents appear sharper and more vibrant.
You can purchase Pages from the App Store for $19.99.
