A vast array of iPhone and iPad prototypes were made public yesterday as part of the patent infringement case between Apple and Samsung, reports AllThingsD.
In addition to prototype diagrams and photos there were also emails and depositions that gave a sense of Apple's thought process in creating new devices.

So basically Samsung is going to prove all of the R&D that went into the iPhone, with very little proof that they conducted any R&D for their Galaxy. Is Samsung trying to loose? Their making a very strong case for apple.
