Microsoft and Nokia Announce Windows Phone 8 Press Event for September 5th

Microsoft and Nokia have announced a joint press event for September 5th, one week before the Apple is expected to hold its press event to announce the new iPhone, reports The Verge.

It's expected that Nokia will unveil a new Windows Phone 8 smartphone which will compete with the next generation iPhone.

We've been waiting to find out when Nokia would unveil its first lineup of Windows Phone 8 devices, and it looks like we'll be getting all the details on September 5th at 9:30AM in New York City. We just received an invite (pictured above) to Nokia and Microsoft's joint press event, and it's pretty obvious from the image and multiple live tile sizes that we'll be hearing about Windows Phone 8. There's no telling what exactly we'll see (perhaps the new 4.3-inch Lumia that broke cover today?), but we'll be there to cover all of the day's announcements.

Are these company's so insecure their products won't stack up to apple that they have to beat them with releases just days before apple, google with there new maps, Nokia and windows with there new abortion! If your products as are good as you designed them to be, it shouldn't matter when there released.
