Unsurprisingly Apple and Samsung CEOs Didn't Reach an Agreement
Unsurprisingly, Apple CEO Tim Cook and Samsung CEO Kwon Oh Hyun were unable to agree to a settlement during last minute discussions, reports The Verge. The two had been asked to talk one more time by U.S. Judge Lucy Koh.
We'd heard rumors that the CEOs of Apple and Samsung were getting together today for one last court-mandated meeting, but their discussion proved unfruitful. Samsung attorney Kevin Johnson just told Judge Lucy Koh that "The CEOs did speak... There was no resolution." The meeting was a last-ditch attempt to bring the legal battle between the two companies to a conclusion before closing arguments start tomorrow.
Both Apple and Samsung's presented proposed verdict forms for jurors to Judge Koh earlier today. Jury deliberations are scheduled to begin Wednesday.
