New iPod Touch Cases Suggest Updated Design, LED Flash?

Cases for an unreleased iPod touch have surfaced online which suggest an update to the device will bring a new design with a less pronounced taper, reports GizChina.

The cases could also give away possible details as to the spec of the 5th generation iPod touch 5. The hole around the camera area to the left for example looks to have been elongated and tapered to fit around a possible LED flash to help with low light photography, and there is also the appearance of a new 'mystery hole' in the lower left hand side of the case.

Unlike the 'mystery hole' on the iPad mini cases which are thought to be for a new rear mounted microphone, the iPod Touch 5′s mystery hole is much larger and rounded and could be for a new larger external mic/speaker arrangement.

It should optionally supports 3G (data SIM card), otherwise socks.

Am I the only guy seing a 3D camera on this case? I mean, one camera on each corner, with the aproximate distance between the human eye. 3D camera!! :D

No way. 3D on phones is a gimmick. Worked well for htc. Plus the cameras seem to far apart. On The 3D phones that have came out the cameras were right next to each other. I just Don't see apple doing that.

I had an android and I hated it I used the apps they were a joke it's gotten all a lot better and I applaud them for that! The Samsung galaxy S3 is the best phone right now but that's the way tech works. But Samson has a company they can go to hell! Everybody I know other than S3 owners hate their phone! Although 80% of everything I do is with Apple iphone people they have iPhones and PCs they have android tablets because they're cheaper and people like to steal and not pay for things so that's why Google is doing well lol it's funny more people I know have iPhones then Androids :) but what I do with my iPad... it just works it's amazing and it makes me happy :)

Apple was first Samsung sucks androids okay but really the same thing and that's cool but I like the Apple operating system so I'm staying wit it. And Apple will not fuck over innovation or America. What they have always done is for us. Do you not look at expos? they explain it all... But they don't need to update us on every day every little tidbit of gossip from everyone else. But on the real if you like android good buy there stuff :)... Apple doesn't need you do something else no one is stopping you sell your shit n do what you want!
