Check out this leaked tablet from HTC that looks a lot like a mini version of Apple's iMac.
BGR notes that the device appears to have a 10.1-inch display with a bottom mounted front and rear camera.
The mysterious tablet features a large empty space beneath the display, and it bears a striking resemblance to an iMac computer. On the plus side, if these images are authentic, HTC will be one of the first companies to offer a tablet that doesn't resemble Apple's iPad. The Taiwanese vendor has previously offered two Android tablets - the Flyer and Jetstream - though neither slate achieved any mainstream success.
HTC may announce the tablet at the IFA Trade show in Berlin this week.
This has nothing to do with the iMac. The only way it looks similar is the big bulky bit at the bottom, and the button looks like the Apple logo... But HTC always had the circular button and bulky non-screen bit at the bottom of the screen in all their devices. This is not a Mac-ripoff; this piece of journalism is just jumping on the 'everyone copies Apple's simplistic design' bandwagon. It's getting boring now.
I'm really sure that this is just a concept. Or maybe it's even made by some random graphics designer person that is not even work for HTC. And maybe he/she now smiles that his/her concept is on every IT news site.
I like it. But that's because I like Apple products. I wouldn't own one of these HTC products. Let these company copy Apple. I don't understand why people get so upset and fight in the Internet. Just don't buy their product and that way you are not supporting them. They won't get far anyways.
What lawsuit does google have against Apple? None actually. Google is being or was sued by 7 companies for android infringments apple, fujifilm, British telecom,Microsoft, gemelto, Nokia, oracle. Good luck supporting that stolen product.
Is there a drought of original creative designers OR has Apple roped them all ? Self respect seems to be a low priority for the likes of HTC, Samsung et al.
