Select McDonald's locations in Europe and now the USA have begun installing iPads for customers use, reports hamptonroads.com.
At the newest McDonald's in Hampton Roads, in addition to the tried-and-true Big Mac and Egg McMuffin, customers will find an offering that they won't see at any other of the fast-food chain's U.S. locations: iPads they can use for free.
The popular Apple tablets perch on white stands at four tables, one of which holds two screens back-to-back. Customers can check Facebook pages, play a game or shop online while they dine.
"It's a great idea to stay relevant, especially to a new generation," said Hugh Fard, who opened the Lynnhaven Parkway restaurant about a week ago and owns 11 other McDonald's in Virginia Beach. "People like to multitask, so why not provide that element for them?"
Fard came up with the idea while attending the annual worldwide McDonald's convention in Florida where he learned that about 20 locations in Europe have already installed iPads.
Check out some photos of the installation below...

Just like Internet cafes in many places the iOS are specially scripted just for this purpose . When ever a user logs out it will erase all traces once the iPad has been reset by the employee or when the user closes the app. The iPad automatically resets itself. To prevent this exact thing you're concerned about.

I forgot that in the United States people are no longer held accountable for their OWN actions, the blame always gets thrown on someone else.

They can't do this in the outer boroughs of NYC, like Brooklyn, Queens and specially in the Bronx because people don't appreciate shit and will find ways to graffiti on it or steal it some how.

Pretty sure it's no different than the tables they are eating at, the trays they carry their food on, the doors they open to come in and leave, or the counter they place their hands on while ordering. And just like all those things are cleaned several times daily, this will be as well.

I was thinking the same thing what about the finger prints from the oil, it's not exactly a place where you eat with forks and knifes.
