BeeJiveIM 2.0 for iPhone

On Tuesday, January 6th, BeeJive will be pushing version 2.0 of BeeJiveIM for iPhone to the iTunes App Store, according to MobileCrunch.

They have obtained a pre-release copy of it, and taken screenshots of everything new and noteworthy. The update is free to existing customers.

Image Transfers
You can now easily send and receive images while in conversation. You can take a picture using the camera or select an image from your photo library.


Voice Notes
Voice notes can now be easily recorded and sent similar to how images are sent.


File transfers
BeeJive now supports receiving many different file types. The files are rendered directly inside BeeJive and can be forward to other buddies.


Address Book Link
Your buddies will now directly link to your address book for easy dialing.


Sound Options
In addition to default BeeJive sounds you can now select themes from AIM and Yahoo.
