Google Slowly Closing Gap on iOS for Revenue From Mobile Apps

App Annie reports that Google is slowing closing the gap on iOS for revenue generated on the App Store and Google Play.

The gap between monthly global revenues on iOS and Google Play is significant, but it’s gradually closing. Although iOS monthly revenues are four times larger than its counterpart, Google Play October revenues are 17.9% greater than those of September while iOS October revenues are 0.7% lower than its September revenues.

It's about time. I'd like to see them competing, keeping the Apple boys on their toes. So far it's mostly been the big name items, as the successful services try to extend their reach, but I like that they're proving competitive at least. No if only MS or BlackBerry had anything to offer....

You obviously live in the country! Here in the Tampa Bay Area I would say 6-7 out if every 10 people are using iPhones. People can bash apple all they want but the bottom line is their product is higher quality and their customer service/warranty is far better than any other company. Btw it's court not the shit you typed.

that was expected when Apple stopped caring about us and new inventions all they do is take others to curt which people see it as weakness and fear, I see more and more none Apple smartphones then ever before, just a year ago it was all Apple!
