iWatch Concept Featuring 1.6-Inch Multi-Touch Display, Magnetic Band [Video]

Here's another iWatch concept video by Ran Avni that features a 1.6-inch Multi-Touch display and a magnetic watch band.

Recently, we've seen a lot of iWatch concepts, including this sleek one, as speculation increases that Apple could release a watch this year.

Notably, a recent report from analyst Brian White of Topeka Capital Markets indicated that the iWatch could feature fingerprint scanning technology.

the ugliest concept ever, strap and watch has no proportion, and the best thing is its saying iOS 7 and the notification is telling that new update of 6.0.2, lolzzz

Magnet watches are all the rave! I'm surprised all the Casio and Rolex watches not attached to the band and also to your hand via magnets. We'd never lose a watch we just walking around. Seriously, this would only work on a mannequin that never moves around. Plus the watch is too thick. If this is a concept, why not make is 2mm thick...?

Magnets can seriously affect a mechanical watch to the point that you have to take it to a watchmaker to fix it. Usually they run considerably faster when magnetized.

I hope it doesn't end up looking like that. It's too similar to what Samsung and others are introducing, a big'o square. Not to appealing to the eyes. Also, that magnet would need to be pretty darn strong to be for a wearable device. I can imagine the watch flying off the strap with a minor impact.
