Check out this concept redesign of the Messages application for OS X.
Created by Ramotion the concept envisions these new features for the app:
Smart Colors: Messages adopts your Mac OS desktop
Focus: The interface is cleaner and more user-friendly. Color and design choices now draw attention to what the user is currently doing. Smart indication for statuses such as upload media, typing and getting new Messages breathes new life into the interface.
Attention to Details: Filter and sync contacts from your Address Book.
Control Your Traffic: Instantaneous synchronization between all iOS devices without delays.

Actually has good texture, huess this means not all of ios 7 is bad, I just hope soon, they add old and new looks of mac os x and ios to all current verisons of those systems so people can choose the looks they want! Everyone, this is my idea for both systems now since the release of ios 7!
