These are instructions on how to stop your iPhone from opening iPhoto every time you connect it to the computer.
Step One
Click to launch the iPhoto application from the dock or from the Applications folder.
Step Two
Select Preferences from the iPhoto Menu.
Step Three
Select the General tab from the Preferences Window.
Step Four
Select No application from the Connecting Camera Opens dropdown.
Step Five
You can now close the Preferences window and exit iPhoto. The next time you connect your iPhone to the computer the iPhoto application will not open.
