It seems Apple may have taken some steps to make the device more watertight. A friend dropped my iPhone 2G in a puddle and it stopped functioning immediately.

Dang I thought it was only my 3gs that was durable. I took my 3gs to the shooting range and when I found out that my AT&T bill was going to be over 300 dollars I decided to ditch AT&T and used my 3gs for target practice. I shot at it with my AR and the 5.56 round bearly cracked the apple logo in the back. Yeah that\'s right I was aiming for the apple. If could only buy about 30 of these babies and use them in my vest when we invade north Korea in august.
