The latest episode of Diggnation has co-host Alex Albrecht revealing that the Apple Tablet will be shockingly inexpensive.
This episode features guest star, John Hodgman, who plays the "PC" in Apple's Get a Mac commercials.
Kevin Rose asks Hodgman if he has any information on the tablet to which he replies, "I don't know anything about it. You think they'd tell me?"
Rose then begins pestering Albrecht who initially refuses to divulge any information but then concedes saying, "I was shocked at how cheap the price point is going to be." Albrecht refused to offer any more information.
No word on the original source of this information but Albrecht reiterates later that it will be "surprisingly cheap".
you know... this interview and conversation was- Awe hell.... this entire show was awkward. Hodgeman seems more concerned with promoting the Vodka going ahead with some on-again off-again game he has about "staying away from PC's yet not saying the words" and tapping, scratching and waving his Mac laptop around in front of the camera when he's nervous.
I'm sure there was more to it... Advertising copy is just what it is... as those of us who watch the show know they [Rev3] has become decent at hiding their copy within comedy or indirect comments. So..... who's to say.
IMHO... as I watched... this just seemed straight up awkward.
(could it be about how they were sponsored by Nokia during this episode where they plug the Apple tablet? -who knows...)
