Apple has updated the design of their MagSafe Connector for the new MacBook Pros (15, 17inch).

The new connector uses an aluminum tip instead of the plastic one which used for the 13-inch MacBook Pro and MacBook power adapters. Its new design is more streamlined and likely more resistant to stress. It's similar to the one used for the MacBook Air.

Looks like this one will block the assesory port next to it if put in the wrong way? Not like the old one that have no right/left up/down orientation.
