Apple has confirmed that FaceTime video calling will not use any of your minutes.
Since a FaceTime video call can be initiated from within a voice call, there was some concern that the voice call would remain active in the background.
An Apple rep has confirmed to BusinessInsider that this is not the case.
"The voice call ends as soon as the FaceTime call connects," Apple tells us. "The FaceTime call is over Wi-Fi so does not use carrier minutes."
