Independent developer Linus Winterseel has released Websearch Pro 1.0, a search utility for Mac OS X. Websearch Pro is a lightweight but very mighty toolbar application for Mac OS X. Because of the easy switching between the different search modes and the possibility to create your own search sources, Websearch Pro is one of the fastest ways to search something in the web directly from your Mac. The key features are:

* Add and edit nearly every search engine or website you need
* Switch through the engines with your arrow-keys - no mouse needed
* Choose a keyboard shortcut and use it to call the app
* Activate autostart at login

The mixture of fast-switching between the modes and adding your own engines allows a very simple but personal search. Some of the working websites are Google, Bing, Yahoo, Youtube, eBay, Google Translator, Dict.cc, Wikipedia. You just have to open the app (or press the configured shortcut), navigate through the search engines with the arrow keys, type in your search term and press Return. That's all.

Pricing and Availability:
For the next few days Websearch Pro is only $0.99 USD (or equivalent amount in other currencies). After that, the price will raise to $1.99 USD. Websearch Pro is available worldwide exclusively through the Mac App Store in the Utilities or Productivity category. You can find further information like explanation movies and screenshots at the product website.
