Cory Moll, a part-time employee at an Apple Store in San Francisco is trying to create a union to fight against unfair practices at Apple Retail, according to Reuters.

Moll says "the core issues definitely involve compensation, pay, benefits". He makes $14 an hour. The minimum wage in San Francisco, one of the most expensive cities in the United States, is $9.92 an hour.

Moll created the "Apple Retail Workers Union" website in May but has had little public support.

"There's a lot of hesitation to want to speak about it," he said. "I don't think there's 50 percent (support) in any one store but as people talk about it, we could get close in a couple of stores." "There's definitely no call to action yet." "Right now what I hope to gain is to get people to start talking about it and get comfortable with it."
