Apple has finally launched their Back to School promotion offering a $100 gift card for the Mac App Store, App Store, iTunes Store, or iBookstore to students who buy a Mac.
When you buy a new qualifying Mac with Apple education pricing* from June 16, 2011, through September 20, 2011, you’ll get a $100 Back to School Card to use on the Mac App Store, the App Store, the iTunes Store, and the iBookstore.
The promotion is a disappointment to many students who've been holding back on their Mac purchase in hopes that Apple would have offered a free iPod touch as they did in previous years.
