Stifler App Promoting New America Reunion Movie is Rejected By Apple

Apple has rejected a soundboard app from Universal Pictures called Stifler's App Suite which played humorous audio clips from the series' popular character. The app was meant to promote the new American Pie film American Reunion, reports CultofMac.

Looks like Stifler was too hot for the App Store to handle, though. An anonymous source has exclusively told Cult of Mac that Apple's App Store review team has rejected the app due to foul language. The rejection has forced the Universal team to resubmit a watered-down version of the app. Stifler's hardly even himself anymore.

Universal acknowledges the app was R-rated and feature content such as:
● "suck me beautiful"
● "M-I-L-F, mom I'd like to F**k"
● "This one time at band camp, I stuck a flute in my p***y"
● "Eat S**t"

Apparently the studio believed that the App Store's 17+ rating was used for 17+ applications. Despite the rejection Universal has resubmitted the app with only PG-13 content.
